Durenda Juergensen is a nurse executive with more than 28 years experience in clinical nursing, education, and management. She has administrative accountability and responsibility for the ED, CDU, Stroke Program, Medical-Surgical units, Nurse Staffing office, Nursing Clinical placement/supervisors, vascular access, Critical Care, CVICU, and their internal registry program.
Durenda has demonstrated success in change management, team building, process improvements, project management, and partnering collaboratively with the nursing and medical staff as a champion for patient care. She has led St. Joseph Medical Center in improving patient satisfaction.
With her Lean Team, Durenda was the recipient of The Daily Record 7th annual Top Innovator of the Year award in 2009.
Durenda obtained her BSN and MHA in Health Care Administration from College of Notre Dame of Maryland.
